Bansko Hotels
There are a number of Bansko hotels to choose from if you're thinking about staying in this increasingly popular ski resort.
The town is fast becoming known for budget ski deals and Bansko hotels are reasonably priced compared to resorts elsewhere in Europe, although standards do vary.
At the top of the range is the 5 star Kempinski Grand Arena, which is probably the best known of the hotels in Bansko. Recently opened, it boasts 110 Deluxe Rooms, plus a further 22 Executive Club Rooms. There also a number of rooms set aside specifically as non-smoking rooms, which is both refreshing and unusual in Bulgaria.
Amenities provided include a spa and fitness suite, with includes a beautiful heated outdoor pool. Other facilities include a number of on-site bars and restaurants.
Away from the 5 star end of the market, there's a good range of Bansko hotels to suit all needs and budgets. The PenBro hotel is widely known, chiefly because it is owned by a couple who originate from Scotland. Facilities there include off-street parking (useful during the busy high season), while they can also arrange airport transfers and guided tours of the area.
Aside from the available hotels of Bansko, you'll also find that there is a large amount of private accommodation that can be rented for a few days, a week or even longer. Much of this is available to book online, with a fair few Brits having bought apartments in Bulgaria.
