Holiday Accommodation In Orlando
Having made your vacation destination decision, there is a vast variety of holiday accommodation in Orlando to choose from. There are a few things you need to keep in mind however before making your final choice.
1. Budget: Remember Orlando is probably one of the theme park capitals of the world, and theme parks cost money. You don't want to be cutting your entertainment experience short because of high costs incurred for accommodation you will hardly see. Set your vacation budget, and then take out what you think will be an approximate amount for entrance fees and refreshments (many parks won't allow you to take your own), and then see what's left. It may seem an upside-down way of setting an accommodation budget, but if all you are looking for is a clean place to lay your head each night whilst you recharge your energy supplies for the next day, then it's less of a priority than a 5-day pass that will save you money getting into a group of theme parks.
2. Location: Will you have transport (ie rental car) for your stay in Orlando? If not, how will you be getting around once you get there? Which theme parks do you want to visit? Are they grouped in a particular area? If so, choose accommodation that puts you in a central point to these. If you intend to spend most of your time at any one place, such as Walt Disney World, and your budget stretches to it, why not book your accommodation somewhere in the Disney resort areas where there's accommodation to suit many different budgets. Outside of the resort, some hotels offer free or reduced travel to various theme parks so booking accommodation here could save time and money. If you are renting a car, you need to consider parking facilities in whichever accommodation you choose before you make a reservation.
3. Privacy: Do you want to be in a home from home situation where you cook your own meals, tidy up after yourself, and come and go as you please? Or do you prefer a hotel with room service and a maid to make the bed each day? If you prefer privacy than a villa in your chosen area could be the perfect alternative to a hotel room with people coming and going along the corridor at all hours of the day and night.
Holiday accommodation in Orlando can be in luxury hotels, family run motels, resort type accommodation with pools and onsite entertainment, or even private villas rented out by the week. Consider each of the three points above before making your final decision and book the type of accommodation that fits into your picture perfect vacation.
