When it comes to finding accommodation there are an abundance of hotels in New York, however it pays to book your accommodation well in advance of your vacation especially as New York hosts many large events each year which means that hotels fill up off season as well as the main holiday times.

For anyone taking a celebration vacation to New York, book the most expensive hotel that you can afford - but still check the reviews in advance - perhaps even staying one night at one of the most famous hotels such as the Wadolf Astoria. If your budget doesn't run to an overnight stay at such a prestigious hotel, then try and at least have supper or a drink in the bar there for an experience you won't forget.
The standard of accommodation in New York hotels various tremendously from the world class Trump establishments, to sleazy back street cockroach invested rooms in dubious parts of the city. By doing your own research before you book your hotel, you can feel sure that you have managed to get the best standard of room possible on the budget you have available.
