Los Angeles Tours
There are many Los Angeles tours on offer to the visitors who descend upon this city of fame, glitter and Hollywood stars. Although looking down a list of them may seem as if many of them are just cashing in on the glamour and infamy associated with the city, it is one of the best ways of getting to see what the city is really about.
Many tour companies offer a variety of tours which allow you to follow what most interests you. Perhaps do want to see where your favourite celebrities live, or where a famous actress died, or which estate used to belong to which mega star of yesteryear. On the other hand, you may prefer a tour which allows you to visit the areas where some of your favourite TV shows/movies were shot on location in the city so that when you see the show again on TV, you can say that you've been there.
Walking tours will guide you through the streets of historic LA with a guide who will entertain you with stories of what went on there in the past, a night-time city tour will allow you to experience Los Angeles after dark without the fear of being alone at night in a strange city. For those with a little extra cash, an airplane tour over Los Angeles, or watching the sunset over Hollywood, could be the experience of a lifetime. Or how about taking the controls yourself, with a qualified pilot at your side, and instead of having a tour of the area, take a tour of the cockpit, and earn a "first flight" certificate to add to your mementos! Whether you want to take a tour by bus (even a Double Decker one!), trolley, cycle, or walk, you'll find a tour that will help you to see the most out of the city and increase the amount of memories you take away with you.
One of the greatest things about going on a Los Angeles tour, as opposed to doing the same path yourself, is that the guides on the tours offer insider stories (true or exaggerated), and can get you closer than security might otherwise be comfortable with. The guides are often actors themselves and just as entertaining as the tour itself. For a day away from theme parks and other adventures, take a tour and see how the other half live!
