The rise of the budget airlines has been great for air travel within Europe, with travellers from the UK reaping the benefits.

The latest carrier to announce incredibly cheap flights is Thomsonfly, who operate from a number of regional airports including Robin Hood.

At the time of writing they're offering large discounts on flights from Robin Hood Airport to Alicante, Dublin, Faro, Ibiza, Jersey, Lyon, Malaga, Naples, Palma, Paris, Pisa and Valencia..
